The Scottish Government are delaying the implementation of the Deposit Return Scheme (DRS) until the other UK Nations introduce theirs from October 2025. The decision was reached after UK Government Ministers barred the Scottish Government from including glass in their scheme, leaving the DRS no longer feasible.
